The High School S2J Summer Academy offers an immersive learning experience that is both educational and engaging.
Through a combination of hands-on activities, industry partner tours, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies, students are provided a glimpse into a variety of science-related careers. On-campus evening activities and industry demonstrations provide a fun and unique way to explore and cultivate a passion for Science.

Students participate in the Academy based on their selected strand interest. Available strands include:

Health Science/Exercise Science

Join us this summer for a journey that goes beyond textbooks and discover the connections between Science and Jobs!

*The High School S2J Summer Academy is limited to a total of 60 participants. The S2J Summer Academy is open to current 9th and 10th grade students in the Avilla, Bronaugh, Carl Junction, College Heights, Diamond, East Newton, Greenfield, Golden City, Jasper, Joplin, Lamar, Lockwood, Miller, Pierce City, Sarcoxie, Seneca, Stockton, Verona and Webb City school districts. Seats have been reserved for each district. On-campus overnight residency is required.
